Description
Atlas Engine NEMA 17 Stepper Motors
The Atlas Engine NEMA 17 series by Summit Electronics is a versatile range of 42 mm two-phase stepper motors designed for compact motion-control applications requiring accurate and repeatable positioning. With a standard 1.8° step angle, the NEMA 17 range provides a flexible motor platform for applications including automation equipment, robotics, 3D printing, laboratory equipment and compact CNC systems.
The series includes multiple motor lengths and torque levels, allowing engineers to select the right balance between motor size, holding torque and available installation space. The Atlas NEMA 17 portfolio ranges from 34 to 60 mm motor length, with holding torque from 0.31 Nm up to 0.80 Nm and rated motor currents from 1.7 A up to 2.0 A.
Atlas Engine motors can be used with standard stepper motor controllers and are ideally combined with the Atlas Control Step 1 or Atlas Control Step 3 controller platforms for a complete Summit motion solution. This gives hardware engineers the flexibility to use the motor as a standalone component or as part of the wider Atlas Motion platform.
For OEM applications, Summit Electronics can also support product customisation on request.
