Description
Atlas Engine NEMA 23 Stepper Motors
The Atlas Engine NEMA 23 series by Summit Electronics is a range of 57 mm two-phase stepper motors developed for motion-control applications requiring higher torque while maintaining accurate and repeatable positioning. With a standard 1.8° step angle, the NEMA 23 platform is suited to applications such as industrial automation, robotics, positioning systems, CNC equipment and other machinery requiring increased mechanical performance.
With eight available motor configurations, the Atlas NEMA 23 range gives engineers significant flexibility when matching holding torque, motor length and current requirements to the mechanical load. Motor lengths range from 41 to 112 mm, with holding torque from 0.50 Nm up to 2.80 Nm and rated currents ranging from 2.0 A to 4.2 A.
Atlas Engine motors can be operated with standard stepper motor controllers and are ideally combined with the Atlas Control Step 1 or Atlas Control Step 3 controller platforms. This enables engineers to use NEMA 23 motors as individual motion components or as part of a complete Atlas Motion architecture from Summit Electronics.
For OEM and specialised applications, Summit Electronics can also support customisation on request.
