How it works:
• Tiny microcapsules move based on electric charges
• No backlight needed
• Power is only used when the screen changes
• Perfectly readable in bright light
Commonly used in:
• E-readers
• Smart labels & signage
• Retail shelf edge displays
• Battery-powered IoT devices
Limitation: slow refresh speed, not ideal for video.
Still, if you need ultra-low power and paper-like clarity, E-Ink is the way to go.
