Our latest SDK introduces two cutting-edge features: Microstepping and CoolStep, designed to deliver unmatched precision and energy efficiency.
Microstepping – Precision Redefined
Microstepping divides a motor’s full step into smaller, more precise sub-steps. This results in smoother motion, enhanced positional accuracy, and reduced vibration. A standard stepper motor with 200 steps per revolution (1.8° per step) can achieve up to 51.200 microsteps per revolution, offering remarkable precision.
Microstepping is ideal for applications requiring high accuracy and smooth operation, such as CNC machines, 3D printers, and optical systems. It ensures superior performance in both industrial and consumer-grade equipment.
CoolStep – Efficiency Meets Performance
CoolStep, delivers dynamic current control to optimize motor performance. By automatically adjusting the motor’s current in real time based on the load, CoolStep minimizes power consumption, prevents overheating, and extends the motor's lifespan.
With up to 75% energy savings, CoolStep is particularly valuable for battery-powered devices and systems where efficiency is a priority. This feature enhances both sustainability and reliability, ensuring your systems run smoothly and efficiently.
